emily + dave | nyc wedding | tribeca rooftop

I had the awesome opportunity last week to shoot Emily and Dave’s wedding in New York City. I shot alongside Rick Denham, who is the groom’s cousin. Rick came all the way down from Canadia (cuh-nay-dee-uh) for this soiree.

Emily’s dress was from Amsale and was a custom design. The flowers and petals on the bottom part of her dress were sewn on by hand by one of her close friends. I should add that both Emily and her friend both work for Amsale. Nice, huh?

The day began for me in Tribeca shooting Dave and guys getting ready. Meanwhile, Rick shot the bride and the bridesmaids getting ready at The Waldorf Astoria on Park Avenue.

We headed up to Christ’s Church on 60th and Park for the ceremony. The inside of the church was amazing.

The reception was held at The Tribeca Rooftop where the decor and event planning was handled by Michelle from Pink Monkey Events. I had been there many times before, but not for a wedding. Michelle did a fabulous job with all the details and people wrangling. The entire wedding went very smoothly.

Congratulations, Emily and Dave. I wish you all the best.

The office is coming along niceley

Hey all,

So here is an update on the office space. It’s almost done. I just got my new LCD TV today (thanks, friend that works at LG and got me a sweet discount!). All I’m missing now is maybe another bookcase and my fridge (should be here on Monday!). So you can see a panorama that I put together of the office. Once the office is really finished, I will put up some better pictures. I was too busy today unpacking my new TV and giggling like a little girl on Christmas morning.

Also, if there are any degens reading this blog, you can see I have a state-of-the-art security camera set up. If it detects any motion after-hours, it will email me and call me, call yo mama, and call the cops.

coming soon | the office

Hey everyone,

Some of you may already know this, but I am in the middle of setting up my own office/meeting space/presentation area. In the past, I’ve always tried to accommodate everyone and try to meet somewhere that was convenient for both parties. However, my business has grown and my sales presentation has increasingly included more moving parts (DVD slide shows, bigger/better sample albums, more products, etc…). It only make sense to have a location to call my own where I can keep all these materials.

Jeannie (the wife unit) has been diligently helping me select paint color, furniture, and showering me with love and support. Hopefully everything will be in place by August 1st. As of right now, the only thing that sits in my office is my desk, a couple of frames, and a few sample albums. I spent a couple days last week painting the walls and I’m waiting for my furniture to be delivered – hopefully this week!

I know I’m getting my mini fridge tomorrow. I can’t wait to stock it full of bee… I mean, water and soda.

I’ll post more photos as time goes on, but I just wanted to share the good news with everyone!

Here is my new address:
Inku Photography
115 River Road Suite 160
Edgewater, NJ 07020
[by appointment only]

I love the location. It’s at the end of the pier in a building that juts out into the Hudson River.

If you’re in the area, send me an email, text, or give me a call.

cristina + steve | wedding sneak peeks

Scorcher! Cristina and Steve were married today on one of the hottest days of the year, but it was awesome! Cristina and Steve are such a fun-loving and easy-going couple. They held their ceremony and reception at the Greentree Country Club in New Rochelle, NY. It was one of the nicest venues I’ve been to yet and the food was so good.

I worked this wedding with Kim from All Events Perfect. Kim recently started working for Sarah-Jane from AEP. Kim was on the ball and had all the bases covered. She was an excellent resource for me during the day, as well.

Here are some sneak peeks from the wedding. My favorite is the one of Steve smelling the bouquet – it’s sheer bliss.
