I met up with Laura and James at Quay’s in Hoboken before their engagement shoot. I love these guys. They are freaking cool. They were eating brunch, watching the Yankees game, having a couple martinis and mimosas. I had already eaten breakfast with Allison and Dan, my Washington DC couple, that had stopped into town. So, I wasn’t hungry, but that Blue Moon was calling my name.
Their wedding is going to be in June at The Imperia in Somerset, NJ. I shot there once last year and it’s a really nice venue with excellent food and staff.
We started the session off slowly just so Laura and James could get used to having their pictures taken and so I could gauge their comfort level with PDA (public displays of affection). No problems there! At one point I was done shooting and was like, “Um… I’m done shooting, but don’t let that stop you.” LOL!
