Jeannie is still my model (with my new Ikea prop chair)

I’ve been trying to think of new ways to take portraits.  I decided recently (with the help of my newest client, Oanh) to go buy a “prop” that I can use for Oanh’s engagement session next week and possibly for her bridal portraits next year.

What did I come up with?  A bright red chair from Ikea.  Hahah.  Jeannie and I went to the Ikea in Paramus, NJ to pick them up tonight and decided to do an impromptu photoshoot in the Ikea parking lot.

We’ll be heading down to Atlantic City next weekend so I’m hoping to get some cool shots of Oanh and her fiance, TIm, in these chairs on the AC boardwalk and on the beach.
