I shot a family today with my Canon. I will shoot your family, too, if you want.

Barbara saw the wedding photos I shot for her co-worker, Heather, and asked me to photograph her family. When I asked her why she decided to have family photos done, her response was basically that life is moving forward and she wanted to document this time in their lives. That is a perfect answer. This is why anytime is a great time to have a family photo session.

We met at Central Park on the corner of 5th Avenue and 72nd Street. We started off at Bethesda Terrace – the light there is just phenomenal. As my sessions usually go, we ended up just walking, talking, and occasionally stopping to take photos where there was great lighting.

I’m very pleased with the photos we got. Barbara and her family were awesome. Thank you!
